Sales Agent

Full-cycle B2B sales — prospect, demo, and close net-new business across USA, Europe, MENA, or Latin America. Distribution infrastructure with rights intelligence built in.

ToneGrid is a white-label B2B SaaS platform that lets independent labels, distributors, and music companies launch their own branded distribution product — powered by our infrastructure. We handle the distribution rails and rights intelligence. Our clients put their name on it.

What you will be doing

This is a full-cycle sales role. You prospect, qualify, pitch, and close — net new business only. You are not managing existing accounts. You are building pipeline from scratch in your region and converting it.

  • Identify and reach out to independent labels, distributors, music tech companies, and music entrepreneurs who would benefit from launching their own white-label distribution product
  • Run discovery calls, demo the platform, handle objections, and close deals
  • Manage your own outbound pipeline using cold email, LinkedIn, industry events, and your personal network
  • Document all activity and pipeline movement in our CRM
  • Report directly to the Founder and Business Development team
  • Stay close to clients through their first successful onboarding

What we are looking for

Must-have

  • 2+ years closing B2B deals — closed-won under your own name, not just SDR or BDR work. SaaS background is a strong signal but not required if you have closed real revenue elsewhere.
  • Working knowledge of how money actually moves in the music industry — DSP payouts, label and distributor splits, mechanical versus performance royalties, why a sub-distributor model even exists. You do not need to be a working musician. You do need to be credible to a label boss.
  • English fluency plus genuine working fluency in at least one additional language relevant to your region. This is non-negotiable for non-USA roles. Multilingual reps reach two to three times more of their market and we test it on the second call.
  • Self-directed pipeline owner. You can build a target list, sequence outreach across email and LinkedIn, and book first calls without being handed leads.
  • Comfortable on a live demo with founders, label heads, or technical buyers. You can handle "what about Revelator, SonoSuite, FUGA, or LabelGrid?" without flinching.
  • CRM-disciplined. Every call logged, every next step dated, no ghost pipeline.

Strong plus

  • Existing relationships with labels, distributors, agencies, or DSP partners in your region
  • Prior experience selling music infrastructure, royalty or rights software, or creator-economy SaaS
  • You have run a solo outbound motion before — cold sequences, LinkedIn outreach, partnership-driven referrals
  • Comfortable negotiating commercial terms in the $5k to $50k ACV range

  • A music-industry degree, or being a working musician yourself
  • USA or EU residency — we hire wherever your market is
  • Big-logo enterprise-sales background

Example: close 5 Pro clients ($249/month each). You earn $1,245 upfront, then ~$2,490 in residuals over year one from those clients alone. The better you close and retain, the longer your income compounds. All commissions are paid one month after the client's invoice clears.

  • A product that already works. 220+ DSPs integrated, white-label live, real customers running on the platform today. You are not selling a roadmap.
  • Rights intelligence as your differentiator. Built-in ACR fingerprinting, AI-music detection, fraud screening, and metadata validation. Features competitors charge extra for or simply do not have. You will not be selling on price alone.
  • Founder access, no layers. Pricing flex, custom terms, deal-shaping calls happen the same day. You have a direct line to the founder, not a sales manager between you and a yes.
  • Demo arsenal ready day one. Sandbox accounts, recorded walkthroughs, ROI framing, and positioning vs. Revelator, SonoSuite, FUGA, and LabelGrid — all already built. You spend your hours selling, not assembling collateral.
  • Travel and event coverage for industry conferences and label-facing events when you bring a target meeting list (pre-approval required).
  • Fully remote, async by default. No fake stand-ups, no 9-to-5 cosplay. Work the hours your market is awake.
  • Real upside as we scale. The first reps who consistently close and retain get first option on Regional Sales Lead roles as we expand into their region.
