From frustration to infrastructure
We started as a distribution company. We signed artists, ingested music, and delivered to DSPs—just like everyone else. But the tools we had to work with were overpriced, inflexible, and built without any consideration for how diverse the global music market actually is.
Boomplay has 80 million users. Audiomack dominates app stores across multiple continents. Yet most distribution platforms treated regional DSPs as afterthoughts—if they supported them at all. We needed infrastructure that was truly global without compromising on local market depth.
So we built ToneGrid. Not as a consumer distribution service, but as pure B2B infrastructure. A platform that distributors, labels, and aggregators can white-label as their own. One that delivers to 150+ DSPs worldwide. One with transparent royalties, AI fraud detection, and a proper API. One that treats every market as a first-class market.
