After more than two years of infrastructure development, regulatory groundwork, and deep integration work across the global DSP ecosystem, ToneGrid is today entering public beta.
The platform is built and operated by InterSpace Distribution Limited — a registered music distribution and technology company — and is designed specifically for the next generation of distributors, aggregators, and labels who need more than what legacy platforms offer.
Beta access is open now. If you are a distributor, label, or aggregator looking for a white-label platform, a direct API layer, or a managed distribution service, this is your invitation.
What ToneGrid Actually Is
ToneGrid is not a consumer distribution product. It is a B2B distribution infrastructure platform — the operating layer that sits between rights holders and the world's DSPs.
At its core, ToneGrid provides:
- Direct DSP delivery to 150+ platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, TIDAL, Deezer, Boomplay, Anghami, JioSaavn, NetEase, and dozens more across every major music-consuming region
- DDEX ERN 4.3 compliant delivery pipelines — the current highest-standard protocol for audio metadata and rights expression
- Multi-tenant white-label infrastructure — allowing distributors and labels to operate their own branded service on top of ToneGrid's rails
- Royalty accounting and payment processing, including split management, cross-currency settlement, and per-stream reporting
- AI-assisted fraud detection across catalogue, release, and account levels
- Real-time delivery status and acknowledgement tracking across all active DSP connections

InterSpace Distribution Limited is the legal entity behind ToneGrid. As a registered distribution business, InterSpace holds the commercial relationships with DSPs that allow ToneGrid clients to deliver music to stores without requiring each client to negotiate their own direct platform agreements.
This structure means a distributor, label, or aggregator can be live on Spotify, Apple Music, and 150 other platforms within days of onboarding — not months.
InterSpace is not a passive infrastructure provider. We take distribution seriously, which is why ToneGrid is held to the same operational standards we use internally — the same ingestion pipelines, the same compliance checks, the same delivery guarantees.
Why Beta, and Not GA
We are calling this beta deliberately.
Several capabilities are still in active development — including an advanced analytics dashboard, the full self-serve onboarding flow, and expanded public API documentation. We want early partners working with the platform while we finalise these, because their real-world usage shapes exactly what we prioritise.
Beta partners receive:
- Locked-in pricing for the duration of their contract

What Comes Next
General availability is planned for later in 2026. Between now and then we will be shipping DDEX ERN 4.4 readiness, a full reporting API, and a self-serve portal for label and sub-distributor management.
