No. The platform is designed for business operators—not engineers. However, if you want to build custom workflows or integrate ToneGrid into existing systems, our REST API is available with full documentation. Dedicated onboarding support is included for all tiers.

Most major DSPs process deliveries within 24–72 hours of submission. We recommend scheduling releases at least 7 days in advance for major platforms, and 21+ days for playlist pitching consideration. ToneGrid’s delivery pipeline runs automated QC checks prior to submission to minimise rejections.

Yes. Beyond mainstream global platforms, ToneGrid supports a wide range of regional services — including Boomplay (Africa), Anghami (MENA), NetEase and QQ Music (China), and JioSaavn (India). If you need a specific platform not in our current catalogue, contact us — new integrations are reviewed on a regular basis.

Royalty payout schedules are configured by you, the distributor. ToneGrid receives and processes incoming royalty reports from DSPs, applies your revenue split rules, and generates itemised artist statements. You control minimum payout thresholds, currency, and payment method (bank transfer, Wise, or custom integration).

ToneGrid supports flexible split configurations including flat percentage splits, tiered splits based on catalogue tier or subscription plan, and custom multi-party splits for label/artist/publisher arrangements. Splits can be set globally, per artist, or per release.

No — that’s the point of white-label. Your artists see your brand, your domain, your logo, and your portal. ToneGrid is invisible in the background. We do not co-brand, watermark, or otherwise surface our identity to your end users.

Yes. Custom domain mapping is fully supported. Your artist portal can live at portal.yourlabel.com or any subdomain you configure. SSL certificates are provisioned automatically.

Yes. ToneGrid auto-generates ISRCs for tracks and UPC/EAN barcodes for releases that don’t already have them. If an artist or label provides their own existing identifiers, those take priority and are preserved throughout the distribution chain.

ToneGrid uses DDEX ERN (Electronic Release Notification) for DSP delivery, which is the industry standard. Metadata is validated against DSP-specific rules prior to delivery. For bulk catalogue ingestion, we support CSV, DDEX, and custom schema mapping via the API.

ToneGrid includes an integrated fraud detection layer that monitors streaming anomalies, flags suspicious royalty spikes, and cross-references DSP takedown signals.
