What's New
- • Build plans for your roster. Create tiered plans in your admin panel: set the price and currency, how many releases an artist can submit over a rolling 12 months, how many artist profiles they get, and whether royalty splits and music video distribution are included.
- • Paid into your own account. Artists pay on their Plan and Billing page, and the money lands in the Paystack, Stripe, or Flutterwave account you connected with your own keys. ToneGrid never holds the funds.
- • Every payment is confirmed before a plan is granted. A plan is granted only after the payment is verified directly with the provider, and payments still clearing are reconciled in the background, so a closed browser tab never loses a paid plan.
- • Know your checkout works before any artist sees it. Turning plans on runs a real test checkout first, so a missing currency or a payment method you have not enabled shows up in the provider's own words, and your admin page flags any recent checkout that could not open.
- • Run a paid-only lineup. A free tier stays the fallback whenever a plan lapses, and you can hide it so your plan page shows only the paid plans you sell.
- • Included on Pro and Scale. Open Artist Plans from your admin panel, switch it on, and your artists see Plan and Billing in their account. It is live now.
How It Benefits You
- • A new revenue line on your own brand. You decide what your artists pay to release through you, and you collect it directly, with ToneGrid staying out of the money.
- • No surprise charges. One payment buys one period. Renewing the same plan adds time to what is left, switching plans starts today, and nothing is charged automatically.
- • A lapsed plan never takes music down. When a plan ends, existing releases stay live and limits apply only to new submissions, so no catalog disappears because a payment is late.
- • Edit a plan without disrupting the artists on it. New terms apply to new buyers and renewals, and artists already in a paid period keep the plan they bought until it ends.
